Forward Leeds is an integrated Drug and Alcohol service made up of several key partners including Humankind, a rapidly growing and highly successful charity. We provide a safe environment in which people can develop the life skills, and confidence to achieve and maintain recovery and abstinence from their substance misuse, successfully re-integrate into society, and become active, contributing citizens.

The Focused Intervention Team support service users who present with a range of substance misuse issues which includes non-dependent alcohol use and work specifically with service users with non-opiate substance misuse issues.

The Recovery Coordinator is an integral member of a dynamic multi agency team, delivering comprehensive and tailored individual interventions that will include delivery of a full range of structured, one to one, support.

The role is designed to provide holistic support to adult service users and to coordinate their drug treatment, including assessment, recovery coordination, PSI delivery and multi-agency working.

Candidates will be recruited within the advertised banding but should not expect initial recruitment at the top end of the banding. This enables progression in role through the Humankind development processes.
