Humankind’s Independent Living Unit offers a range of housing-related support services, advice and guidance to help people obtain accommodation and progress towards sustained independent living in the community. We support vulnerable people, often with histories including substance misuse, offending, mental ill health and homelessness, to overcome barriers and achieve social inclusion. Come and help us make this happen. 

An opportunity has arisen to join our successful Sefton Generic Floating Support services which provide housing related support to a range of Service Users across the borough of Sefton to assist them in maintaining their current home or to identify appropriate accommodation options as move on from Supported Accommodation. 

This post is part-time (18.5 hours) and the successful applicant will be required to work across the Sefton area with an office base in Southport.

We understand the importance of ensuring all our service users are safe from harm and are committed to following guidelines on safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and good working practices, including the safe recruitment of workers.
