Forward Leeds is the 2nd biggest Drug & Alcohol Service in the country and is made up of several key partners including Humankind, enabling the development of a peer-led, recovery community. We provide a safe environment in which people can develop their life skills, and confidence to achieve and maintain recovery. By abstaining from their substance misuse, individuals can successfully re-integrate into society, and become active, contributing citizens. 

Humankind are an established provider of substance misuse, health, young people and families, employment training and education and housing services. This is an exciting time to be joining Humankind. In the last 3 years we have doubled in size, growing in reputation and delivering key services across the country.

We are currently recruiting for a Recovery Coordinator to join our team at Forward Leeds Kirkgate Hub, this role may include occasional cover within our Primary Care Enhanced Service at York Street Health Practice.

As directed by the Area Manager, the Recovery Coordinator will be an integral member of the dynamic multi agency team developing and delivering comprehensive and tailored individual interventions that will include delivery of a full range of structured, psychosocial, and clinical support. The post calls for close co-operation with other professionals such as GP’s, practice nurses and pharmacists and may involve delivering support from Host clinics/GP practices
