Barnsley Recovery Steps is an integrated drug and alcohol recovery service which provides advice, support and structured treatment for individuals around drug and alcohol related issues.  

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Practitioner who will provide clear role modelling and line management to staff in our HOPE and BRiC teams in line with our organisational ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service delivery.  The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary management team and support in the delivery and continuous development of elements of the treatment system including:

• Harm Reduction and Needle Syringe Programme
• Open Access duty
• Non-structured Criminal Justice interventions
• Targeted outreach
• Early Intervention Prevention & Education
• Sustained Recovery Support and Aftercare

The successful candidate will have worked in substance misuse or another social care field and will have sound knowledge of substance misuse structured and non-structured treatment interventions.  You will be able to demonstrate your ability to contribute to continuous service development working collaboratively with staff, service users and partners across systems to benefit the people we support.
