Step Forward Tees Valley aims to work with people across Tees Valley by supporting them to take advantage of existing voluntary or employment possibilities, as well as working with local employers to create new opportunities. SFTV is joint-funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund. We are looking for an experienced individual to undertake a contract compliance and monitoring role within this exciting project.

The role will be working closely with the finance department, the SFTV project hubs in Darlington, Stockton and Hartlepool, and the prime contract holder (Northern Inclusion Consortium). You will be responsible for ensuring financial and participant evidence is compliant with European Social Funding/BBO requirements and financial claims are submitted to external deadlines. With responsibility for collecting and auditing all evidence from the SFTV teams to support monthly claims for timesheets, mileage forms, salary information and participant expenditure. Extracting financial reports on an ongoing basis to identify claimable and un-claimable expenditure for each monthly claim, and performing regular participant file audits within the SFTV offices. A key aspect of the role is to identify evidence gaps and collecting further evidence accordingly to ensure full compliance and changing process where required.
