Humankind are an established leading provider of substance misuse, employment training and education, health, young people and families and housing services. We are proud to be a national charity based in the North East, promoting fair chances for all.

Humankind have over 60 office type premises, 10 of which are spread across a number of London Boroughs. We are now recruiting for a Premises and Health & Safety Officer to take the lead across the London and South areas in relation to our office/commercial premises. The main duties of the role will include:

• Ensuring our premises remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose for all of our staff, service users and all others who visit them
• Undertaking site inspections to ensure all required checks and tests are completed within set timescales
• Arrange for quotes for work and oversee any required works
• Provide Premises, Health & Safety advice and guidance to managers, workers and volunteers in services across Humankind.
• Working proactively with managers to establish and maintain a system that promotes a culture of safe working practices across the organisation including ensuring clinical sites are complying with Infection Control standards.
• Providing support, training and guidance to all Nominated Premises Officers at each site.

This is a 22.5 hour per week role.
