Humankind is an established provider of substance misuse, health young people and families, employment training and education and housing services.
In the last 4 years we have trebled in size. In 2019/20 we have a projected turnover of circa £45 million pounds and will employ in excess of 1000 staff, expanding from a turnover of £27 million pounds and 700 staff in a matter of two years. 
We are a national provider with a need to engage and support staff and beneficiaries and advocate for improvements to their lives so people can have Fairer Chances.
With this encouraging growth we need to ensure that we take steps to manage our growth effectively and position ourselves to further develop the organisation. We want to continue our vision to be an impactful and innovative health and social care provider.
We are seeking outstanding candidates for a new Executive Director of Strategy, Culture & External Affairs.          
With the ability to operate this executive role from day one the successful applicant will have a proven understanding of marketing and communications, corporate management and organisational development. We require an individual who is able to make a significant contribution to the strategic management and development of Humankind.
Initially the post holder will be responsible for Humankind Strategic Planning, Marketing and Communications, External affairs including campaigning and influencing, Workforce & Culture, Corporate centre and the coordination of major workstreams
You must be committed to partnership working, motivated and passionate about achieving the best outcomes for services users, their families and the wider community.
As a member of our Executive, this will be a highly influential position within the organisation and, over time, you will also be expected to lead aspects of corporate development.
