A new opportunity has arisen for an Area Manager to lead Humankind’s service delivery within Treatment and Recovery Newcastle (TARN). The service will be led by Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust delivered in partnership with Humankind and Changing Lives. Launching on 1st December, TARN will offer high quality care, promoting opportunities and supporting best possible outcomes for individuals, their families and communities. The successful post holder will match our ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service quality and performance across Newcastle.

Main duties of the role will include:
• Senior operational management of Humankind’s service delivery within TARN
• Providing effective and positive leadership for our service team
• Developing and promoting effective working relationships across a wide range of partners and stakeholders
• Delivering on key performance outcomes and service activity targets
• Maintaining and evidencing service quality indicators

Applicants must hold (or be working towards) a recognised management qualification (e.g. CMI Level 5 or Equivalent or a minimum of 2 years management experience) with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership in a service environment. Experience in a service management role with a proven track record of successfully meeting targets is essential. You must be able to motivate and encourage others and promote the ethos and values of partnership working.
