Humankind’s Independent Living Unit offers a range of housing-related support services, advice and guidance to help people obtain accommodation and progress towards a sustained independent lifestyle in the community.  We work with a wide variety of clients, often with histories including substance misuse, offending, mental ill health and homelessness, to overcome barriers and achieve social inclusion.
Our work involves supporting clients who live in a variety of accommodation types, including private rented, supported housing, sheltered housing, temporary accommodation and those who are homeless
The opportunity for a Gateway Worker has arisen to join our Independent Living Unit in Middlesbrough.  We have two housing support services running from the same premises; Middlesbrough Support for All and The Key Project.  Working within these services you will be responsible for the processing of referrals and enquiries, support to clients attending drop in along with the daily provision of general administrative support for the teams and managers
Hours to be worked – full time, 37 hours
