Humankind is an established provider of substance misuse, health young people and families, employment and training, education and housing services.
A new opportunity has arisen for a Lead Practitioner within the County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service
The successful candidate will match our organisational ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service quality and performance across County Durham.  The role will carry a small caseload of service users, provide supervision and direct line management to the staff team alongside maintaining delivery pathways and performance within the recovery co-ordination elements.  The role will also support the integration of psychosocial pathways and wider service development and take a lead role in the effective day-to-day operation of the Centre for Change, co-ordinating service delivery elements, staffing and the working environment in collaboration with the Project Manager.   There are also elements of partnership working with wider stakeholders and our clinical team provided by Spectrum CiC. 
The post is a six month fixed term position, we would consider a secondment for internal applicants.
Applicants must have experience of working with the substance misuse field be able to demonstrate their ability to use own initiative and able to galvanise a team of staff to achieve effective outcomes.
