Humankind is an established provider of substance misuse, health young people and families, employment and training, education and housing services.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Lead Practitioner within the Wear Recovery Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service in Sunderland.  The successful post holder will match our organisational ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service quality and performance across Sunderland.

Main duties of the role will include:

Developing and promoting effective working relationships within the Wear Recovery partnership and across Sunderland
Ensure the achievement of key performance outcomes
To implement performance management and undertake supervision of staff within Assessment and Engagement, SPOC and Criminal Justice Teams.
Lead on work stream development

Applicants must have experience of working within the substance misuse field be self-motivated, and demonstrate their ability to use own initiative and able to galvanise a team of staff to achieve effective outcomes for service users. Experience of performance management and staff supervision is essential.
