We are recruiting for a Weekend Worker in our Independent Living Unit.
Humankind’s Independent Living Unit - offers a range of housing-related support services, advice and guidance to help people obtain accommodation and progress towards a sustained independent lifestyle in the community.  We work with a wide variety of clients, often with histories including substance misuse, offending, mental ill health and homelessness, to overcome barriers and achieve social inclusion. 
The following opportunity has arisen to join our Sheffield Accommodation Service

The Greens is a 21 bed abstinent based service for those who are in housing need and are recovering from substance misuse problems. With every client abstinent at point of entry to the service we provide and exciting mix of support work and a group based recovery program.

The post and your work will be integral to the delivery of the service. You will be expected to work as part of a team providing housing related support to clients balancing housing management with support and support with recovery. Supporting the project on 8am to 4pm on a Saturday and Sunday. This will include supporting clients, day to day manual tasks, cleaning duties and light admin tasks.
