A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Peripatetic Manager to work across Humankind services in the North East. The successful post holder will offer assistance to Humankind managers and services during key periods of change and development, for example when key personnel are absent or pending their recruitment, when projects are being set up, closed down or require additional support.

Main duties of the role will include:
• Leadership and management of services working with Directors and other Senior Managers
• Contributing to business development work within the region, including identifying innovative forms of service delivery and sourcing funding
• Working across service delivery units to deliver service development and improvement projects
• Supporting improvement of service delivery to meet and exceed quality and performance requirements
• Supporting positive engagement with and development of service teams
• Developing effective relationships with stakeholders and partners

Applicants must hold or be working towards a recognised management qualification (e.g. CMI Level 5 or Equivalent or a minimum of 2 years management experience) with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership in a target driven environment. Experience in project management with a proven track record of meeting targets successfully in a management role is essential. You must be able to motivate and encourage others and promote the ethos and values of partnership working.

This role involves frequent travel.
