Humankind are proud to deliver drug and alcohol recovery services across the North East. We provide high quality services in partnership with service users and stakeholders across County Durham, South Tyneside and Sunderland (Wear Recovery).
We are looking to establish a bank of recovery co-ordination team members to work flexibly across our three services, supporting our service teams and helping us to meet the needs of local communities. Bank staff play a key role within our service teams and a full range of development opportunities is provided. Many team members who join us as bank staff go on to work with us on a permanent basis.
Working on a flexible basis, the main duties of the role will include:
• To work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.
• To provide holistic and structured recovery coordination and psychosocial interventions to service clients, involving their families and carers.
• Working to ensure effective delivery of recovery coordination within the full integrated service model.
