West Yorkshire Finding Independence (WY-FI) is a Big Lottery Funded project that aims to improve the lives and wellbeing of people with the most entrenched multiple needs who don’t engage in services, revolve in and out of services or are excluded from services. The voices of lived experience are an essential part of the WY-FI partnership. The WY-FI Network of experts by experience is linked to all aspects of our work and the Network itself is working towards becoming an independently constituted entity.
We are looking for three people with lived experience of mental health challenges, addiction, homelessness and/or contact with the criminal justice system, to support and motivate WY-FI’s own beneficiaries to get involved with the Network and with meaningful activities in local areas (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield).
We are committed to providing a supportive environment for you grow in as a professional, but you will be responsible for maintaining your own wellbeing.
The roles are between 25 and 30 hours per week, to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
