Humankind are an established provider of substance misuse, health young people and families, employment training and education and housing services. In the last 3 years we have doubled in size. In 2018/19 we have a projected turnover of circa £36 million pounds and will employ in excess of 900 staff, expanding from a turnover of £27 million pounds and 700 staff in a matter of one year.

We are recruiting for 2 x Full-Time Recovery Co-Ordinators be based in our South Tyneside Adult Recovery Service. 

This is a newly mobilised service supporting residents of South Tyneside with Drug and Alcohol needs.  The successful post holder will match our organisational ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service delivery across South Tyneside, engaging with local communities and supporting their priorities.

Main Duties for the Role will Include:

To work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to substance misusers (drug and alcohol) across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.
To provide holistic and structured recovery coordination and psychosocial interventions to service clients, involving their families and carers.
Working to ensure effective delivery of recovery coordination within the full integrated service model.
